SOUTH AFRICA’S CANDIDATURE TO THE UNITED NATIONS HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL (UNHRC)

 

 

 

Job Title: Secretary

Remuneration: € 28 876 – € 50 411

Requirements:

Minimum 12 years of schooling, Relevant post-school qualification, 3 years’ experience in a related field of work. 

The candidate must be able to speak, read, write French and English fluently. The candidate must be computer literate. As a first point of contact, the candidate must have good interpersonal skills, be able to work with diverse people and positively represent the Embassy and South Africa. The candidate must be able to work independently with less supervision and must be able to manage time effectively. The candidate must have good planning organising skills. The candidate must have knowledge of South Africa and its culture. Non-French candidates must have a relevant and valid permit allowing them to stay and work in France.

Duties:

  • Provide secretarial and administrative duties including translation of documents
  • Diary management
  • Provide interpretation services
  • Coordinate logistical arrangements for the Embassy
  • Coordinate Diplomatic and Social events
  • Facilitate the procurement process of the Embassy
  • Provide ad-hoc services in response to the organisational requirements

The South African Embassy in Paris invites applicants including South African Citizens residing in France to apply for the above-mentioned vacancy – interested candidates who comply with the requirements must submit the following:

  1. Copy of passport
  2. Copy of ID
  3. Copies of qualifications
  4. Police clearance
  5. Relevant French Permit (for non-French Nationals) allowing them to stay and work in France.
  6. Updated CV
